Pharmacy Technician

Our Pharmacy Technician course is a Hybrid course with lectures online and hands-on-training done every Friday 1pm-5pm for 13 weeks.

Students will learn:

• History of Medicine and Pharmacy

• Resume workshop and interview skills

• Legal Issues in Pharmacy

• Communication and Role of the Technician with the customer

• Dosage Forms and Routes of Administration

• OSHA / HIPPA

• Conversions and Calculations

• Drug Information References

• Pharmacology and Medications

• Pharmacy Billing and Inventory Management

• Medication Safety and Error Prevention 

• Bulk Repackaging and Nonsterile Compounding 

• Over-the-counter Medications 

• Complementary and Alternative Medicine

Upon successful completion of the course, the student will receive a Certificate of Completion in Pharmacy Technician, OSHA/ Infection control certification and HIPPA. Once successfully completing the course, students will sit for the CPhT exam through the NHA. This is included in your tuition.
